Newly born sciences and technologies usually claim to take the place of existing ones. Now the question is: Will this happen partially or completely to the fileds mentioned?
 

Are we talking about optical computers here by any chance, and not optoelectronics. Otherwise it is rather like saying will submarines replace cars.
 

sorry guys but I'm kind of new here can u please explain to me what is optoelectronics
