Can somebody suggest me the microcontroller with the usb interface and how difficult it will be to make it the usb host. I don't want to go for the on-the-go function.
Actually I want to interface a digital camera with usb port to the microcontroller so that muc can act as a usb host.

Thanks in advance
Dinesh

Currently I have only seen 32bit MCU with host interface. If you want to work with 16bit or 8bit, you have to get a host controller or OTG controller. OTG controller will not be as complicated as you think since you are going to be the host and may not need to implement the full OTG specs.
