hello. Please i need suggestions on very good books on microcontollers/PICs. Links to free ones will be really appreciated. Also was programming language is best for them.... can i use java?
 

You cant use Java on a Micro like a pic. It has no OS. The language of choice is C. Just take a look on Microchip website at the data sheets and application notes. They are all free and provide the information you will need to get up and running.
