I need to do as an exercise a small signal model of a MESFET. I know that a MESFET is very similar to a JFET and the only difference is that instead of using a p-n junction for a gate, a Schottky (metal-semiconductor) junction is used.
My question is, does this difference has any implications on a small signal model? or can I do it exactly as if it was a JFET transistor?
Thank you in advance.

Dear Friend!
Hi
You can use The equivalent circuit of jfet for a mosfet ( at small signal).
Best Wishes
Goldsmith
