Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how 2 PCB files can be merged and make a single pcb in allegro.?

Export one as subdrawing and import it into the other.
 

also this method is good when you want to compare 2 similar footprints ?

correct me if i am wrong ?
 

Yeah sure, or it is good for filling the design with all that stuff of the customers like logos, pictures and so on. The clp-files are stored for further use, this is a very great convenience.
