I am having a Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge, it have two wires, wires show connectivity when the sea-saw changes its direction.
Maybe i am able to explain what i want to say, but the ones who had worked on Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge knows it.

The Wire shows connectivity when 0.5mm water is put in it.

How can i measure and make a device that shows the rainfall in mm.

What i think is to pull-high one line and ground other line.
and sense pull high line for ground on external interrupt pin.
Am i right Is there any best possible way to measure rain fall using Tipping Bucket Rain Sensor.

Please Help
