Measure Transconductance in Cadence

Hi,

what is the correct method of testing the transconductance of an OTA in cadence? Do I run an ac analysis? What should the input and output terminals be connected to? I need to know the transconductance of the OTA so that I can design a filter. Thanks!

create emacs file called stimulus.scs
type in " simulator leng = spectre
save M0: all

then go to spectre --> setup --> simulation files
then point to your file.scs and click ok
run dc sweep
then tools -->results browser -->schematic --> psf -->dc-dc -->M0 --> select gm

then click plot
