measure step down transformer

Hello,

I have a transformer 120v/240vac, the secondary voltage is 21vac. I want to measure the secondary waveform from osilloscope, but I need to scale down 21 vac to below 10vac. Can you give me the advice what type resistors can be used and how to connect them on output transformer to measure the waveform?

You can use two normal resistors in a voltage divider configuration Voltage Divider
the 21v RMS AC has a value of almost 60v peak to peak so you should check your oscilloscope and set the divider ratio to fit your range.
Also the input impedance of the oscilloscope will be connected in parallel to one of the voltage divider resistors so depending on the value you will have a small measure error.
