I am a new member here... I dont know if it is a valid question...

Is asking for free links on some books allowed?

i am financially not good to buy textbooks. i learn from hearing others talk and seeing others program.

i want too learn pic programming. many of my friends read it, but not willing to share with me.

can anyone post any link on mazidi book for pic. it will be of great help.

if i cannot make request like this please forgive me

I suggest that start with a BASIC compiler such as PICBASIC PRO

It is better if you first undergo the free tutorials as mentioned by keith1200rs. After that, try to collect the Indian edition as that will cost less than 10 US$ whereas the US edition cost me more than 100$. Even then, if you fail to collect and if you are from India,contact me and I will post my Indian print copy to you. However, the Mazidi book on PIC is the best book and yes, you must collect that one.

The best PIC tutorials by far I've come across online:

They cover the baseline and midrange PICs using both Assembly and Hi-Tech C, which can be download for free from Microchip:

All the Gooligum Tutorials are in downloadable PDF form along with all the source code for each lesson.
They are very professionally done and best of all, free.
