What do you mean by radius of single pickup in well tap cells? Seems like it is some lath-up rule .

its the distance upto which the Voltage level remains well within the tolerable level. It is mostly use to decide optimum distance between two tap cells

spacing between 2 well-tap cells is 2*sqrt(r^2-h^2). Here this r is the radius of single pickup. Now using the maxima and minima we can find out the maximum radius that can be here only if we know the spacing between the two well-taps. That means if the cells fall within this radius then the chances of latch-up is taken care of by the well-tap conforming to that radius.

mathematically speaking statement is wrong. Radius is a fixed parameter for a given cell you can find the maximum limit for the distance between the two cells but not the other way around

its the same thing... maybe mathematically wrong... but the placement of two well-tap cells is done by taking into account this radius. Thats why its caled maximum radius of single pickup.
