in dsPIC30F microcontroller series with 80MHz Fosc, what's maximum frequency of pin state changing?

Hi,

guys correct me if i am wrong, from my experience maximum frequency of GPIO pin state changing is =( Fosc- total Instruction cycle frequency required for pin change) .But in some latest MCU's(like STM32F series ) having option for user defined Speed .

Best regards,

The maximum frequency of I/O state changes are typically dependent on several factors, largely device dependent and are usually stated in the specific device's datasheet:

Example Reference: dsPIC30F2010 Datasheet, Table: 22-19: CLKO AND I/O TIMING REQUIREMENTS, Page: 160
