MAX1781 Problem

I have rebuild my laptop battery, formerly it had a backup of only 20 min. but then with new cells it should have increased. but it didnt happen. There is a sort of a memory in it which makes it behave like that. the chip used in it is MAX1781 how could i erase or reset the memory in it? i would also like a datasheet link.

That was a bad link. the Datasheet is not for the IC i gave here. both the ICs are for different purposes. if you have any good link please give me. but verify it before posting for me. i have registered for their site but they havent replied me in 2 days. so if anyone of you could request them for yourself and then send me, i would appreciate it.
 

I have the datasheet for MAX1781 which I have downloaded from **broken link removed**
I used my Apple laptop to download but couldn't find it through PC laptop. Send your email address if unable to find it.
