matlab codes for voice recording

for my project, i need to record the voice(for 1min) in matlab and then sample it, later each sample should contain 8bits in it. and also convert the samples from dec to binary and finally mix with the carrier signal to obtain the BPSK signal(modulated) can any1 help in finding the CODES for this?? :(

i'v successfully recorded the voice, but can any1 pls tell me how to sample this recorded voice signal??? :(
