matlab code for motion detection with alarming

hi all,
i am doing a project to detect the motion and alert the guard by alarming by matlab

can you suggest me a codes for motion detection with alert

Hi;
I can't offer a whole code but an idea.
You can take snapshots via a web cam, and since consecutive pictures should be the same (in case of no motion), take difference of two images.
ie diff_pic = picture(t+1) - picture(t).
Resulting image should be nearly 0 (black). But here you need some filtering to discard some inevitable effects, such as sensor noise, luminace intensity changes etc.
Than decide if there is a motion in the scene or not.
