the most easy way for programming your ports when you doesn't know a thing about a programming language is by use of LabVIEW (https://www.ni.com/labview)
you can try it there online for free or request your trial version.

hey isnt thee anything simple i am not an expert in c++ although i have worked on it but isnt theere something more simple or atleast more descriptive so that i can learn easy i have a strong electronics bakground but not software
its really nice to see that how many people are interested in this . i just want to ask that i know quite something about parallel port now after reading many articles . but it almost seems useless to access parallel port without a nice user interface .does anyone of you have an idea which interface is easier to program
