Hello,

does it make sense that there is the [Mark as Solved] button on top right corner avialable for everybody?

In my opinion only the OP and moderators should be able to mark a thread as "solved".

Today it happened to me that I wanted to use the [Mark forums read] button (also top right corner) but unintentionally I pressed the [Mark as Solved] button.
Purely out of habit.

I don't think I was the first one this happened to.
What´s the idea behind that any member can close the thread of a foreign member?

Hi Klaus, thanks for the feedback. Now the regular users can mark as solved only their own threads. Thank you.
