I have a master pic that i want to control a number of other cards using I2C bus.
I select for example master pic is pic18f6520 and i cannot design card part.
I want my master pic selects the adress of the card and give the orders, and card gives acknowledge and some other information about it. Also card has a pic on it.

Hi,

for all PICs there is a software implementation for I2C bus on the Microchip home page available.
I think you should use the app note for slave comunication.

Here is the Link:
https://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/AppNotes/00734a.pdf

You can use this for conmunication from slave to master PIC

best regards
