Hello. In my society, we have to make a product that come on a beagleboard. So my goal was to make a component that represent the 3 connectors of the daughter board. So my collegues have just to put it on pcb an work. The problem was, like in other component creation, that altium define by default a scare region that cover all the component. So if you put a component on it, there was a violation.

Thanks for your response.

By deafult Altium creates a room for components! But you can choose if you would update the components with this room in engineering change order!

There are no need to "plug" that daughter board on mainboard during DRC checking.
