macro model timing in encounter

如何 产生 macro model encounter

dear all

i wanted to know on wat bases we can decide upon the macro model timing in encounter for clock specification. for example I have some memory elements in design which I want to include the timings for. I did not get any inputs from the memory grp but have to decide myself. Please help me with this

You need to fire your memory group. If they will not generate a timing model for you to verify timing, then the only way is to use it as a blackbox and hope it works when you fab the chip.

Someone must know the timing relationship of the pins on the memory!!
