Hi all,
I would like to create a third party mosfet symbol that will use the library given by a specific manufacturer A.
There are guide on Creating a symbol and referencing to the subcircuit model of Mosfet A.
However the resultant symbol is in the form of rectangular box like an IC.
I would want to have a proper mosfet symbol that shows the Drain, Source and Gate which reference the pin of the Mosfet-A.mod file given by the manufacturer.
As such, I copied the intrinsic symbol in LTSpice, nmos.asy and rename it to Mosfet-A.asy. Opening the Mosfet-A.asy file to change the pin number to follow the one in Mosfet-A.mod. After which, I add this new Mosfet-A symbol in my schematic and change the value to point to mosfet-A.
Adding the .inc mosfet-A.mod Spice directive ends it.
Question - Will this work? Thanks.
