I've got 24bit ADC chip LTC2440 from Linear in 16 pin SSOP pckage. After reading the datasheet, i build the circuit with ATMEGA16 and SHIFTIN to get the data. But I got strange data and it's not represent the data expected?
ANybody can gave me some advice?

If you could put up the schematic, it would be easier to answer.

chek the reference voltages, may be they are not correct

This is the circuits. CS I held low (grounded), SDI I held high (VCC), So I need only to poll the SDO pin and wait it to go low

according to the PDF, the reference voltage is from 0,1V - VCC so it doesn't makes a matter :D
