My school has just bought the Protomat S103, and we are trying to set it up. The only problem is that the dummy tool that is inserted in the tool head is impossible to remove. In the manual it says that the software should be able to do this, but the software thinks that the machine is empty.

This had an automatic tool changer, so we can not do it manually.

Have anyone any experience with these machines and can help us?

I solved this problem by starting a production phase of the milling machine, CircuitPro then asked me to pull-out the dummy-tool, it will go to the O position and release the clamp.
