x-bus

peripherals on a PCI bus have a base address register which gets a value during PCI system enumeration, so the PCI devices dont have fixed addresses.
how is it with LPC-bus and X-bus? (X-bus is something like simplified ISA bus from LPC SuperIO chip)
I saw some FPGA-based x-bus peripherals which had direct address decode. i dont know if the LPC-bus or x-bus master has a base address register or not...
so, the Xbus (maybe LPCbus too?) devices reside on fixed addresses in the X86 address space? if not, how to make shure to access them on predefined addresses?
