Hi guys,
Very good morning to all... I am going to use PIC18F87K22 in my project... Full circuit is working at 3.3v... Its SMD package Ic.. so i need to use ICSP programming.. But problem is ICSP programmer works at 5v..Circuit voltage is 3.3v... if i connect straight manner means my other application circuit will fail..So how can use ICSP programming here..
Having one idea for that. but dont know whether it will help or not... Separating VDD of micro controller from application circuit by an diode..while programming 5v ICSP programmer controller works at 5v...no PGM pin provided in this controller..Rest of the time it will works at 3.3v..Am i doing correct? Need your help Dear friends...Send any reference circuits...
Thanks in advance..

Yes I have checked... Its possible to use Low voltage Programming... But i m having doubt in my hardware.. SO that have to clear before Implementng PCB...What is the use of on chip voltage regulater? In data sheet they said its separate from VDD.... If i enable on chip regulator na what isthe logic voltage of I/o pins.. If i did not use means what ill happen?
