hello,

i want to design a low power vco. operating at frequencies up to 500MHz.
is there another option as using current starved delay cells if i need a large number of stages?

what about the csa cell? do they consume static power?

as far as i see the current starved delay cells only consume power during switching. is this correct?

You can also try LC VCO for low power applications.
