Hello,

Can anyone suggest low cost oscilloscopes for FPGA based designs. Xilinx spartan 3 boards.

Thanks,
Emma Good

You mean like chipscope ? or rather standard oscilloscope like Rigol Tektronix.
Cost of the Oscilloscope depands on many factors -> nr of channels, input signal bandwidth.

1. you can use xilinx chipscope, for all internal and exteranl fpga signals.
2. if it's not enought for you : a simple Digital Storage Oscilloscope will do.
3. you can try and have a look at e-bay...

Maybe a Rigol DS1052D? 2x analog + 16x digital channels. Or try to score a used agilent on ebay.
