low bit rate speech coding

I am doing a project to reduce the bit rate of a speech signal to 2.4Kbps. I now need to convert the lpc coefficients to lsp parameters. I have read a few papers but cannot understand how to implement it in matlab. I want to obtain the graph of interleaving lsp parameters in the x domain. Please help me at the earliest because my project deadline is soon approaching.
