I am looking for a source for an LCD screen that would carry 1 inch X 1 inch see through screens. It would also be nice to get a source for pic micros that would drive it.

Thanks

Eda

If you are located in the U.S. there are plenty of reliable sources for PICs.

I usually order from:

Microchip Direct

They are particular good for volume pricing. They do have minimum orders on some parts, not the MCUs, but the minimum counts are usually low, typically 3 or 5 pieces.

Occasionally, I'll order a few Microchip MCUs from Mouser or Digi-Key just for a matter of convenience, i.e. when I have placed an order for other non-Microchip parts and I need a PIC to finish the prototype.

They are usually $1 or $2 higher than Microchip Direct.

Mouser Electronics

Digi-Key Corp.

Hope the info helps,
Ciao
