Yes, there is a 5517 available, but never seen any dataheet for that.

If you take a close look to my posting you will notice the part "the 5517 is pin-to-pin ... compatible to 5516".

...And datasheet for 5516 is available (including pinout) ;-) ..

so better read between the lines !!!!

That's a two-page ``data brief'' (marketing blurb). Looks like the original posters are looking for the datasheet (probably a couple of hundred pages).

Has anyone made any progress? I am frustrated by this, many many freeview boxes and no Jtag pin out. I even built a switching unit to try all the combinations to work out which is TDO /nTRST / TDI etc but no joy

Pin outs or data sheet would be rewarded.

Thanks for that but that is the well known sti5518 but the sti5516/7 is bga quite different. I jtag many devices using the 5518 but have a stack using the 5516 which is a real problem
