sound compression IC?

hello
please give a list of ICs that it can get sound signal from microphone and compress it and have an output max 32Kbit/sec.(have internal sound compression /decompression sections).

Do you mean digital data compression?
Like Ti's and maxim's?
 

I want to build a circuit that get signal of sound by a microphone and have a serial digital output signal (32kb/s)

The circuit should have a IC that do these tasks and compressing sound data.
please help on IC selection.

Hmm, you should use adc (sigma-delta) like maxim's.Try to look at their sites and you will find adc ics'.Then you should choose a mp3 encoder chip available at www.ti.com If you can not choose i can advice their part number.Cheers,
