I am wanting to learn about electronics but don’t know where to start. I have completed kits before and can do the practical stuff. I want to understand how they work and why.
So can anyone let me know a good place/ book to start? and I am an electrician so I understand some of the theory of it, if thats not a hindrance.
Thanks
Mark

Re: Learning Electronics

One of the most practical electronics books, which may help, is The Art of Electronics by Horowitz & Hill. It is a little dated now but is more practical than a lot of books. It may help.

Re: Learning Electronics

Hi,
Following books will be useful for you-
Practical Electronics Handbook by Ian Sinclair and John Dunton.
Practical Electronics for Inventors by Paul Scherz
Electronics Explained by Lou Frenzel
Hands on - Electronics by Daniel M. Kaplan and Christopher G. White.
If possible, collect those books and that will help you a lot in the field of Electronics.
