Looking for sample PIC16F877 USART program in turbo C

im using PIC16F877 micropic for serial port interfacing, i just want to ask for a sample USART program in turboC using MPLAB. and also please give me proper syntax in initializing the USART in turboC using MPLAB

There is no compiler for PIC named....turboC and you write assembly code in MPLAB. Try CCS PICC or Hitech C comiplers....

the microchip web site has several ap notes on serial I/O. at least one on the 877 though it should work for any mid-range pic.

also, google for usart pic - you will get a lot of hits. in fact, the problem is not finding information but rather which ones to use.

the compiler we are using is Hitech C compiler

please post some syntax on USART, anything about USART sending and receiving
