Hello
I need a good text for learning RF mixers (specially RFIC oriented). Pls hlp me. which text is the best? Is there any good paper? Can we use LEE's book on CMOS RFIC? What's about RAZAVI's RF Microelectronics?

Re: Mixer Learning [hlp]

Hi
Books:
-Razavi: RF micro electronic, give you whole system picture. Very good to get system idea
(I called it Macro view).
- I recommend, Calvin plett, john Rogers and Lee RF books, as a circuit level design. Very simple explanation but in BJT. (Micro view, circuit level).

Paper:
-it depend the mixer specification, SSB, DDB, direct conversion, LOW IF,...
dual IF, sub-sampling,....
Each of them has a advantage/disadvantage. Again depend to your design specification.
-Enclosed you will find the simple NB Mixer design and toturial. ( include cadence simulation).
Cheers
