Looking for recent list of all 8051 vendors

I am looking for a recent list of 8051 vendors - those companies make 8051 microcontrollers. I found one thread about that, but it was 11 years old.

A simple Google search will yield a list of current 8051 variant manufactures, including but not limited to:

Analog Devices, Atmel, Infineon Technologies, Maxim/Dallas, Microchip, Silicon Labs, STC, STM, TI and IXYS Corp.

The Silicon Labs (SiLabs) family of 8051s are particularly nice with plenty of features and horsepower, up to 100 MIPS, they also offer a USB in circuit programmer/debugger and development boards which are relatively inexpensive.

Only a simple response can be given to such a generic question, perhaps elaborating on your specific requirements would yield a more specific response.

It wasn't hard to find this list. Given that this is a list for a compiler and what it supports it's likely that the list is relatively complete and is composed primarily of parts you can still buy.

It just takes skill to parse the results of a google search or to use the correct keywords, perhaps that is the part that isn't simple for you. I'd suggest working at learning this skill.
