It is 8bit microcontroller from Motorola (MC68HC11).
All informations for it can be find on freescale site.
Most used devices are MC68HC11A1 and MC68HC11F1.
F1 version have 1024b ram and 512b eeprom in 68 pin plcc package.

68HC11

68HC11 is good microcontroller. It is 8-bit and has lot of addressing modes.

Actually i'm doing a project using a mc68hc11. basically the block diagram is as shown below. turn left/right is working as a switch. right switch will actived right sensor, and left switch will activated left sensor. sensor will send a result if detect any presence in the area to mc68hc11 and mc68hc11 will produce two output on LCD display and sound(by additional IC).

*this project must use mc68hc11 to fulfill the requirement of task given to me which using expanded mode.
