hi 2 all,
i want 2 do a project on vlsi impl. of enhanced security encryption tech.for kerberos v5 protocol ,
can u tel me smthng abt kerberos v5.

introduction of kerberos v5 protocol

kerberos V5 is an authentication protocol based on symmetric encryption.
it is impelemented in windows and linux and many other operating systems.
Kerberos authentication mechanism is relatively complex but it dose not deliver strong authentication.
