about Interpolator

i am doing a project about dac, but i confused about Interpolation filter.
Can you give me some material on it , and please tell me how to implement it . and some hdl about it will give me a great favor.

Re: about Interpolator

The reason for this digital interpolation filter is always to oversample your input digital vector, and remove all the images between your DC band and the up-sampling frequency band. This will ease the analog post-filtering since lower-order filter is always easier to implement, especially in analog domain.

The filter can be designed in MATLAB. Its implementation can be found in many DSP books.

about Interpolator

you can found it some DSP book, and maybe you can find soem simple simulation if you using google search it.

do you have the concept of sigma delta modulator, maybe you can refer to motorola sigma-delta modulator book, there was sth.

Good luck!
