Looking for ignition detection circuit for a vehicle

Hi,
I need a ckt to detect ignition in vehicle.

hi
just take that wire from the car (there is a ignition wire)
and connect it to a MCU input.
(ofcourse you will need a protection circuit for the input and the mcu)
also use TVS diode.

Hi,
thanks for replay.but my requirement is in my project i have to provide drive authentication i.e., first i have to detect ignition of the vechicle from this we know that vehicle has started.when driver stop the vehicle then i have to detect ignition

Most new vehicles have an On Board Diagnostics OBD and you can get the ignition signal directly from there.
