I am looking for a E1 transceiver chip which can handle 8 E1 Lines simulatnously. I know that Maxim chips can handle up to 4 E1 Lines.
Does anybody know a chip which can handle more E1 Lines?

Regards

Re: E1 Transceiver

Hi

Thanks for your hints.
Are these chips single transceiver and do not need peripheral chips?
Nevertheless I think that Zarlink's transceivers (such as MT9076) are higher performance than others. What do you think?

Re: E1 Transceiver

depending the evice, dallas are software programmable for 75 or 125 ohm.
You need only a standard couple of resistor.
In site you can found every info.
