Looking for Audio Level Meter

Can anybody give me a simple Audio level meseurment circuit.I want to meseur audio level from a TV audio out OR from a catv RF signal.Pls help me.

Try to pass the audio signal to a simple peak detector circuit , then take the output to several comparators ( U may use LM324 ) that compare the audio level with different pre-defined levels .
