ASIC design has lots of steps/phases like arch definition/ microarch/ RTL design/ synthesis/ chip floorplanning/layout etc... which step are you referring to ?

Hey this que is not vague...........

I m designing a ASIC design of turbo code receiver..... so i want to know more about it....

and need tool to complete whole project....
rightnw i had only idea about this reciver but i want to implement it with ASIC ....

so wat to do.........

Hi,

I think if you are planning on doing a custom layout than you would definetly be using Cadence Vitruso.

For Synthesis - Synopsys Design Compiler (Design Vision)
For Place & Route - SoC Encounter or Silicon Ensemble
