Hello ......... Anybody know about the Cadence Design software ..... What kind of software it is..... is it a software in demand or what???...any body have some info...

ranging from frontend to backend. It includes popular EDA software ncsim Verilog/VHDL
simulator, Ambit logic synthesis tool, Orcad, Spice and so on....

Cadence is a EDA tool Manufacturer, like Synopsis. It provided both front end and back end tools, and is a leader in the EDA tools market. cadence tools are less expensive than synopsis.

cadence is a EDA package containing everything from design entry(schematic based orcad capture) to netlist generation ,layout,simulation(Pspice) ,verifiacation etc

I have used Cadence NC Compiler and Simulator extensively. It an excellent tool for front end design (using VHDL or Verilog), however, it doesn't provide synthesis though. If this is what you are looking for let me know.
