AGC Circuit design help

I am trying to build a very basic AGC circuit that accepts sinusoidal signals with peak to peak values between 100-900mV and produce output having peak to peak voltage of 1V. The input signal is fixed at 10khz and the output should have zero phase shift. Additionally, the circuit should consist of no more than two general purpose operational amplifiers.

Can someone recommand some undergraduate level text with relevant coverage on AGC or provide sugguestions on the actual design.

Thanks

Owen

Re: AGC Circuit design help

Check National Semiconductors CLC520 data sheet. Figure 8 should give you some ideas.
