Neither your question nor your title makes sense. What are you looking for? Are you looking for a professional device, namely a separate IPTV server with like 1000 multicast connection support etc... Or are you looking for a simple server software that runs on a Linux PC?

Buddy, Google for sun ref arch and verimatrix system you will get deocuments for same......

There are many available, may be you can use Live555.
