Hi,

i need help,is it possible to buy an PCIe card for a desktop applications
,with or without a socket for FPGA and if is it possible where can i buy it
?and what is the controller chips needed?

thanks in advance

fpga expresscard

Try searching this list for "PCIe" or "express":
https://www.fpga-faq.org/FPGA_Boards.shtml

Try visiting www.xilinx.com, click "Boards and Kits", then "By Function", then "Bus Interface and Other Connectivity".
Some of the listed boards (such as the Xilinx ML506) have PCIe even though the list doesn't say so.

I'm not sure what you mean by "controller chips needed". These boards should all be ready to go. Many of them are FPGA development kits.

I've never seen a modern FPGA in a socket.

Re: pci-express card

Hi,

my aim is to make an
acceleeration card ,PCIe card, that has an fpga and other accessories not to
buy a final fpga board product
, in other words is it possible to buy for example a PCIe card and design
it such that put on it my fpga , i/o controllers, drivers, memeories.... and
if it is possible where can i buy this card???/

Re: pci-express card

You can buy the Spantan3 PCIe Starter Kit from the xilinx company.

I've used the FPGA to realize one AES encryption engine and wrote one simple driver for it under the linux.
