Hello,
I'm looking for a GPRS module under Rs1500 which could be easily interfaced with the PIC18f4550.
I'm in a confusion if I could directly use the USB dongles available in the market or not?

Kindly guide me on which modems will be able to understand AT commands directly.

A UART interface is preferred

Thankyou

hi u may find several gprs module eg. sim900. which can be serially interfaced and price in pak ruppees is 3500RS

three are many cheap GPS modules available in ebay...
just spend some time on ebay... you would find a good one...

if your country does not allow importing such items, ask a friend who is coming from overseas... usually they don't get caught in airports.... :)
