I am planning of measuring the long term stability of a downconverter using an Agilent 8565E spectrum analyzer. The measurement is relatively straightforward but I don't have a way of electronically store the frequency over time. Is there an application or option out there that can be used to track the frequency for long periods of time (i.e., 48 hrs)?

Regards

If you use Keysight Test and Measurement software or National Instruments, you can store frequency data for a period by using GPIB interface. Even RS-232 interface can work with an appropriate program like MS Excel.
There are many options for this.

If you don't need amplitude stability info then the
specAn may be overkill.Might a polled frequency
meter do as well (accuracy being otherwise equal)?
Might find or have one with software meant for that,
easier to get on with?
