Hi,

I'm using a hall effect current sensor IC mounted in a current transformer to measure AC current via a micro. It is supposed to output an AC voltage proportional to the AC current sensed.

This is all working fine, but i noticed something quite strange... The output waveform is exactly double the frequency of the input voltage. We are metering AUS mains at 50Hz, and the output of the current sensor is 100Hz!!!

Any ideas on this? Dispite the relatively vague datasheet, I'm almost certain i have the circuit set up properly. It's a Honeywell LOHET1 IC.

Thanks a lot

Sam
