LNK3202 based Buck converter feedback loop problem.

Hello,
The second diagram down on page 7 of the Linkswitch-TN2 datasheet shows an optocoupler being used to regulate the Buck converter.
If the opto delivers more than 49uA into the FB pin of the LNK3X02, then the LNK3X02 stops switching.
However, the connection of the opto_diode in series with the zener diode looks very precarious. Do you believe it would be that bit more secure if 100R was placed in series with the zener? –Just to limit the current in the zener from potentially running away.
