Hi,

I am using LM334 in my project. I have configured LM334 in such a way that the output current is 2mA constant by placing Rset resistor value as 34 ohms as per LM334 datasheet and I have connected load of 10K across the V- pin and ground. Here I am facing a problem, if I change vary the load using a POT, the output current of LM334 is changing. But as per the datasheet the output current should be constant and only output voltage has to be varied. Please let me know where I am wrong.

Thanks In Advance!

Hi,

10k and 2mA means you need 20V at the resistor and some more voltage for the LM334 to operate properly.

Whatc s your supply voltage , and what currents do you see?
